Shannon

Shannon is a certified yoga instructor with experience in hot power yoga, Vinyasa flow,  and gentle yoga. A Georgia native, she began practicing yoga with her sister in her teens. She was always drawn to the fluidity and holistic healing benefits of yoga, but it truly found her as it helped pull her out of a long period of post-partum depression. After a six year stint of full time parenting, Shannon decided to enter the next season of her life as a dedicated yoga instructor, driven by a desire to bring the same hope and restoration she found in yoga to her students. 

Shannon had the privilege of completing her RYT200  under Kim Saunders (founder of Lift Yoga) as well as completing an Applied Polyvagal Theory in Yoga training under Arielle Schwartz.  Shannon's students love the approachable nature of her vinyasa practices as well as the physical challenge of her power yoga. When Shannon is not dreaming up a new routine or working on her yoga playlists she is planning the next overseas adventure with her husband or creating whimsical art with her two daughters.
