Katherine

I began doing yoga as an exercise at the counsel of a running friend in 2014.  As with many people, the physical practice led me to connect dots between my physical, mental and spiritual self, finding an integration that had previously eluded me.

I became more of a yogi and less of a runner, more of a yogi and less of a striver. I was hooked. I had to know more, understand more, so I enrolled in Kim Saunders’ 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.  This gave me a broad base of the roots and foundation of yoga along with how to build classes and share yoga with others. I believe yoga has so much to offer in healing the body, mind and spirit.

My goal as a teacher is to create classes that are fun, functional and hopefully even transcendent. In my own yoga journey, I know I have only extended the tips of my fingers up into a vast universe of knowledge, wisdom and benefits yoga holds for every body.
