Andrea

HI! Fitness and sports have always been a large part of my life. I was a group fitness instructor for years. Ran a marathon and love triathlons. Yoga became part of my life when all of the running and sports caused multiple injuries that limited my options. I struggled with yoga. Every part of my body twitched when I was still. Still and slow is not my natural state. Then I learned about the "body-mind connection." I learned that yoga and stillness are exactly what I need to heal my trauma and my nervous system. I decided I was going to trust the process and dive in. I took the 200-hour yoga teacher training with Kim Saunders to explore movement and healing. I did not take teacher training to teach—I took it to learn. Oh man, did I learn. I learned to connect to myself and stop running, both figuratively and literally. I remembered how much I love to encourage and lead others to the strength they already have inside themselves.

I am still not a typical yogi. I am loud, perky, high energy. I show up as I am and encourage you to show up the exact same way. My goal is for you to walk away feeling seen, feeling strong, and connecting to the magic inside you, as well as outside yourself… and it brings you joy.
