Crossroads Yoga is an “all ages, all stages” studio, offering a wide variety of yoga classes with something for everyone:
For those who like to sweat, we have vinyasa, power yoga, yoga sculpt, and more.
For those seeking calmer classes, we offer slow flow, yin/restorative yoga, gentle yoga, meditative flow, chair yoga, and more.
All instructors are certified and are exceptional at providing unique cues and guidance to each student in accordance with that student’s fitness and experience.

“Chair” is yoga without having to lie down or kneel; you won’t need to get up from or down to the floor. It’s a combination of standing and sitting, but don’t be fooled: It’s a real yoga class with real benefits!
“Gentle” and “Weekend Wind Down” are mostly floor-based classes in which you will gently guide your body into different “stretchy” poses. The classes are relaxing but offer a great stretch as well.
“Restore” (also called “Restorative” by many) is a passive, meditative form of yoga that allows you to focus on your breath while releasing tension in your body. You’ll get comfy and use bolsters and blankets. It’s very relaxing…
“Sculpt” uses light weights, elastic bands, and/or exercise balls to build and define muscle. It’s more of a “workout.”
“Vinyasa” style yoga, also known as “Flow” yoga, involves moving from one pose to the next in a connected and continuous motion. It is among the most popular contemporary styles of yoga.
“Yin” is a slow-paced, meditative yoga practice that focuses on stretching and holding poses for extended periods. Yin yoga targets the body's deep connective tissues, such as ligaments, joints, bones, and fascia, to improve flexibility, range of motion, and circulation. It's also said to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and sleep disturbances, and improve emotional balance.

Most of our classes are “all levels.” Also, our instructors are wonderful about providing new students with special “cues” that take into account your individual fitness, flexibility, and health. We encourage you to read our reviews below for examples of students who were hesitant at first but ended up being glad they visited us!

You’re wise to think about these things, so here are two things to take into account. First, if you’re really concerned about this, please consult with a physician prior to coming in. Second, you should tell your instructor about what bothers you, and you’ll receive special guidance on what to avoid, if anything. We get it! But please know this. We are an incredibly warm, welcoming studio. Just read some of our 100-plus 5-star reviews, and you’ll see a theme about our unique little yoga community. That said, we do offer a “New to Yoga” private lesson package that many have found very helpful in getting them up to speed and comfortable in a yoga class.

We’ll, we’re certainly not going to let lack of a yoga mat get in the way of a good time. We have mats that you can borrow, no charge. :)

We are near Birmingham Crossroads in Milton in the Birmingham Village (a/k/a “Baby Publix”) shopping center, next to Goodwill. You’ll find a map and a link to directions at the bottom of this page.

Your first class is FREE. After that, most people go for our unlimited “30 Days for $30” trial membership. After that, we have plans and class packs for every frequency and budget. Our rates are the lowest of any yoga studio in the Milton area. Crossroads Yoga is more a labor of love than a “business.”
